SECURE AND CHARGE YOUR COMPUTER FLEET WITH LAPCABBY

Choose from seven new Lapcabby models to secure and power-manage 10, 16, 20 or 40 computers.

Ideas to ponder

“A mind once stretched by a new idea never regains its original dimensions.” - Anon

Things to think

When buying education furniture, make sure that you:

Choose quality
– The better the quality, the longer your furniture will last. Higher educational furniture is innovative and accompanied by a longer warranty period.

Think practically – Make sure that the furniture you are buying is practical for everyday use in the classroom. It is great to have a piece that looks smart but if it is going to take a chunk out of your walls every time it is bumped, you will end up damaging both the classroom and the furniture.

Consider safety – Anything you buy for your school is going to be used by students. The equipment you buy needs to be child-friendly, safe and easy to use for students and teachers alike.

Have fun – The equipment you are buying will remain in the classroom for years to come, so make sure you choose something colourful. Avoid black and grey!

Features include

Choose Lapcabby computer storage cabinets for:

Energy optimisation: Lower energy costs using built in timer to charge up computers off peak (saves schools money)

Power management: Sequential relay cutover avoids tripping circuit breakers (avoids power outages)

PARASYNC CHARGING & SYNCHRONISATION DOCK

PARASYNC helps schools and universities to organise, charge and synchronise content to 20 iPod devices. By using iTunes as a native application and eliminating cumbersome connector cables it is easy to use, reliable, compact and attractive.

Ideas to ponder

"The main part of intellectual education is not the acquisition of facts but learning how to make facts live." -- Oliver Wendell Holmes

Things to think

When buying for education in schools and universities, consider:

  • Ergonomics & Aesthetics: Choose a compact, lightweight, attractive and versatile solution.
  • Ease of Use: No third party management software required.
  • Handy Indicator Light: Useful to show charge and sync modes, and communicate feedback.
  • Structural Integrity and Compatibility: The optimal support of the device and cable-free.
  •

    Features & Benefits include

Choose PARASYNC synchronisation and charging docks for:

Ergonomics & Aesthetics – With dimensions similar to the length and width of a sheet of paper (32.4cm L x 26.7cm W x 5.1cm H), the PARASYNC synchronisation and charging dock has a compact footprint that fits almost anywhere. At only 3kg it's lightweight, too! Use it as a table-top station, in a transport cart or stow it discretely in a cabinet or drawer for safekeeping.

Ease of Use – Connect PARASYNC to your MacBook and open iTunes. You’ll see the 20 docked devices appear which you then register to your library. To synchronize, simply drag and drop content to the devices as one normally would in iTunes. It’s that simple. The process described is best done with a Mac running OS 10.4 or higher and iTunes 7.1 or higher. PC users will experience fluctuations in performance when syncing to a large quantity of devices due to limitations in the PC's USB interface. PARAT Solutions strongly recommends the use of an Apple computer when synchronizing large quantities of iPod/iPhone devices.

Handy Indicator Light – A green indicator light shows when PARASYNC is charging (light is illuminated) and when it is in Sync Mode (light blinks). A UL-approved power supply charges all devices simultaneously. The supplied USB cable connects the dock to the host computer to sync iTunes content.

Structural Integrity and Compatibility – Cables are eliminated!  Simply insert device in a slot to charge and sync. A two-layer support insert protects iPod and pin connectors. PARASYNC functions universally with all iPod and iPhone models and generations. A support insert with slots customised to the profile of the individual device ensures ease of docking and provides optimal protection.
